One of the advantages of ordering from the HP Online Store is that we deliver free of charge on all orders over $50 (orders less than $50 will incur a small delivery charge of $7.95).

If your order is in stock and available we will aim to dispatch it on the next working day from receipt of your order acceptance confirmation (you’ll receive this via email after we’ve performed the necessary security checks). Typically you should expect to receive delivery of your order within 2 - 4 work days, depending on your location within Australia, Our deliveries take place Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Configure to order products (customised to your specific requirements) will be delivered between 7-14 work days. We will try our best to get it to you sooner.

Please note that currently we do not ship to internationally or to P.O. boxes addresses.

If your order is being delivered to a business address, please be advised that our carrier will deliver to a mailroom or reception area and will request a signature from the reception/mailroom contact, our carrier does not require a signature specific to the order details. Please note we are only able to deliver to ground floor locations.

Please note that we are unable to split orders so if any items are unavailable we will hold your order until we can deliver all of the items in your order. We may however dispatch individual items from different warehouses so you may receive your order in multiple deliveries. If you require an item that is in stock quickly please place a separate order for this item.

Whilst we will endeavor to meet or exceed the estimated delivery date this should only be used as a guide. Please note you will not receive a proactive notification if your delivery date changes so please visit the My Orders page for the most up to date status of your order.

Currently we offer next business day delivery on Ink & Toners orders being shipped to Melbourne metro, Sydney metro, ACT and Brisbane metro. Other locations delivery times vary between 2-5 business days. HP ink and toner will be delivered next business day, 95% of the time. Other products warehoused locally including PC, notebooks, printers, accessories etc are delivered within just couple of days.

1. Price Match Terms

At the time of purchase, the HP Australia Store (http://HPshopping.com.au) will match the current direct-fulfilled price (including all taxes and delivery charges) for new "Comparable PCs" and identical HP printer model numbers from any nationally recognised Australian retailer (“Competitor”). "Comparable PCs" are defined as desktops and notebooks manufactured by Dell, Lenovo, Toshiba, Samsung, Acer, Asus and HP which have the same specifications (screens, touch capability, operating system, processor, memory, hard drive, optical drive, graphic cards and all other product features) as an HP PC listed on http://hpshopping.com.au.

Please call us to request a price match and to complete your new purchase because price match requests cannot be completed via e-mail or the online store at check-out. When you call, please tell the sales agent:

  1. The applicable PC or printer you’d like to purchase from HPshopping.com.au, and
  2. The Comparable PC (manufacturer and detailed specification) or identical HP Printer model number offered by the Competitor; the direct fulfilled price (including all taxes and delivery charges) and the steps you took to get to the price. 7. Are competitors' services eligible for price matching?

8. What if the Competitor does not have the item in stock or has limited quantities of the product?
If the item is out of stock it is not eligible for price matching.

9. Does the HP Australia Store price match "free gift with purchase" offers?

10. Does the HP Australia Store price match offers with financing?
The HP Australia Store does not match financing offers. We pride ourselves on our quick turnaround time and this means there is only a small window to cancel your order before it ships. Although we will try our best to assist you we cannot guarantee we will be able to cancel your order in time.

Refunds

Refund process if your order has not shipped.


Credit Card Orders
If you have paid for your order with a credit card, no refund is necessary as your credit card has not been debited. We only take payment when we dispatch your order but your bank may have reserved these funds as a pre-authorisation. Your money will be visible on your account within a few days subject to your credit card provider’s policy.

Paypal Orders
If you have paid for your order with PayPal, we will refund your account after the cancellation is processed. The funds should appear back into your bank account within 5 business days subject to standard banking practice.

Direct Debit & Purchase Orders
If you have paid with direct debit or purchase order, we will refund your account after the cancellation has been processed/confirmed. Please provide your Bank Details to our Post Sales team in order for us to proceed with your refund: Account Holder Name | BSB | Account Number. Please note it can take up to 5 working days for the funds to be back into your account once processed. This timeline is indicative and dependent on your bank.

Gift Card & Prepaid Visa Card Orders
If you have paid for your order with a prepaid Visa card or HP gift card to make a purchase on the HP online store only, please retain the physical card as the funds will need to be credited back onto the same card. In case of a lost/stolen or discarded card HP will not be liable for processing a refund to alternate account or card. A new card can be issued by HP for an additional fee of $25 to the customer.

Refund process if your order has shipped

If you have requested a return of your purchased items and you are expecting a refund, please note that HP will execute the refund as soon as the goods are back into our warehouse.

Credit card Orders:
Once we receive your returned goods we will process your refund and the funds should appear back into your bank account within 5 business days. If the Credit Card used for your purchase is no longer valid, you will need to supply us with your bank details (account holder name, BSB and Account Number) so we can execute the refund via a wire transfer.

PayPal Orders:
Once we receive your returned goods we will process your refund and the funds should appear back into your account within 5 business days.

Direct Debit and Purchase Orders:
Please provide our Post Sales team with your valid bank details: account holder name, BSB and Account Number to allow us to execute your refund in a timely manner.
Standard banking practice dictates that the funds should appear back into your bank account within 5 business days from the moment HP has executed the refund.

GST Exemption refunds
If you have a requirement to claim back GST you must provide HP with GST exemption certificate.

  • HP GST department will check your eligibility based on the provided certificate.
  • If you are eligible to GST exemption, HP will credit your invoice charged with the local GST and rebill you without GST. If you paid the original invoice with local GST, HP will refund the local GST to you.

Gift Card & Prepaid Visa Card Orders:
Once we receive your returned goods we will process your refund and the funds will be credited back onto the same gift card or prepaid visa card. In case of a lost/stolen or discarded gift card or prepaid Visa card HP will not be liable for processing a refund to alternate accounts or cards. A new card can be issued by HP for an additional fee of $25 to the customer.

HP Store 14 Day Returns Policy

Our commitment

If you are a consumer customer

(i.e. an individual purchasing products or services primarily for non-professional use)

At the HP Store we want to be completely satisfied with your purchase so you may change your mind and cancel your purchase and receive a full refund at any time before it ships and within 14 days from the day you receive your complete order.

Please note: it is HP Policy that we must have received the original items back prior to issuing any refund or replacement product/s.

If you are a business customer

(i.e. an individual or companies purchasing products or services for professional use)

You may change your mind and cancel your purchase and receive a full refund at any time before it ships and within 14 days from the day you receive your complete order.

Please note: nonstandard orders (for example a PC built to your custom specifications) are exempt from our 14 Day Returns Policy.

Please note: it is HP Policy that we must have received the original items back prior to issuing any refund or replacement product/s.

Exceptions

HP’s Change of Mind Policy does not apply:

  • to customised products that have been built to your specific requirements;
  • to consumable products (such as printer supplies) that have been opened;
  • to products that are not returned to HP in an as new condition;
  • to products returned to HP without all original packaging, media, documentation and accessories; or
  • where you are unable to provide HP with satisfactory proof of purchase.

Bonus Offers and Bundled Items

Where products are supplied with a gift card or bonus offer, the gift card or bonus must also be returned with the product. If the gift card or bonus is not returned, or if the bonus is not returned in an as new condition, then the value of those items will be deducted from any available refund.

In the case of bundle offers, all bundle items must also be returned to HP in an as new condition otherwise the value of those items will be deducted from any available refund.

How to return an unwanted item

To return a product, please call HP on 13 23 47 for assistance. To help us deal with your request as quickly as possible, please have your original order number ready.

You are responsible for all costs of returning a product back to HP under this Change of Mind Policy.

Before returning a product to HP

Please remove any:

  • additional software and personal information; and
  • hardware components which you have installed yourself on the product after you received it;
  • personal CDs or DVDs you used to install drivers for any hardware products; and
  • passwords used to block access to the operating system or any other software components which came with the product.

Please note that refunds cannot be issued until HP receives the original product back. Refunds for all purchases will be given using your original payment method. HP aims to process refunds within 21 days.

Please ensure you have tracking /proof of delivery as without this, we will be unable to process your refund.

Please note if you are waiting to receive another HP Store order, please be aware that the delivery & the collection will be done by two different drivers (drivers are not permitted to accept unplanned packages).

Damaged product or box

In the unfortunate event that you receive a damaged product don’t worry.

Firstly, please be sure to note and outline any damage on the delivery note supplied by our carrier.

To help us fix the situation as quickly as possible please call our Post Sales team within 14 days of receipt of your order

  • Is the damage visible on the product before or after opening?
  • Was the box/equipment damaged?
  • Provide photographic evidence of the damage.

HP will arrange to collect the goods at a convenient date and once returned back to our warehouse and assessed HP will ship you a replacement or give you a refund.

Defective Item

If you’re unfortunate enough to receive a defective product please contact our Technical Support Team on 13 10 47 as soon as possible (no more than 30 days after delivery) who may be able to quickly resolve/fix the defect without need for return.

If Technical Support are unable to resolve your issue the agent will provide you with a case ID/Authorisation number. You can then speak to our Post Sales team using the contact details below and they will be able to process your claim for refund or replacement of your product.

Any products not present in the list are not part of the promotion & will not be eligible for a gift card redemption.

"Participant" means a resident of, or business trading in, Australia who purchases an Eligible Product from the HP Online Store during the Promotional Period and is the End User of that Product. The Promoter, its related bodies corporate, resellers of HP products and any agencies associated with this Promotion, their employees and those employees’ immediate families are ineligible to participate.

“HP Online Store” means the web store located at www.hpshopping.com.au

“End user” is a Participant who purchases an Eligible Product from the HP Online Store, for his, her or its own personal use in Australia and not for resale or re-supply or export.

Scope

These HP Terms and Conditions of Online and Phone Sales (the "Terms") apply to orders submitted by you to HP either online or over the phone for products and services available in the HP Store website (the "HP Store"). These conditions apply only to consumers who are purchasing products or services for use outside of their trade, business or profession (not for resale). Any Business Customers who access this site should instead refer to the HP Business Customer terms.

Prices, Shipping Charges and Payment

Prices, shipping charges and payment terms shall be as specified on the HP Store, as determined when ordering online or over the phone. You will also be charged any applicable taxes; no value added taxes refund system are currently available from HP for online or phone purchases. HP reserves the right to change prices published on the HP Store at any time. HP may change credit or payment terms at any time if, in HP's reasonable opinion, your financial condition, previous payment record or the nature of your relationship with HP so warrants.

For Paypal orders your account will be debited after passing the fraud check (normally 1 day) after the order acceptance.

Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance by HP. HP will provide you with an order acceptance or rejection notice as soon as reasonably possible.

You agree that we may use Personal information provided by you in order to conduct appropriate anti-fraud checks. Personal Information that you provide may be checked against a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of that information.

Order Cancellation

HP reserves the right to cancel any accepted order prior to delivery, at HP's discretion (whether or not payment was made), and this in case of any material errors in connection with your order, the price or other conditions published in the HP Store relevant for your order, or if any further verification of your credit conditions or records so warrants. If payment was made and your order is cancelled, HP will issue an appropriate credit to your account (or may contact you to collect information in order to do so).

You may change your mind and cancel your purchase at any time within 14 calendar days after you order is delivered in full (or in the case of an HP Support Pack, after purchase) and receive a full refund (such refund to be provided within 14 days from the date of cancellation.

Should your order be for an HP Support Pack, any services provided prior to notice of cancellation will be chargeable to you and you will only receive a partial refund. If the entirety of services have been provided prior to notice of cancellation, you will not receive a refund at all.

Cancellations may be made by notifying HP by email support@hpadmin.zendesk.com or through the Call Centre on 13 23 47 between 8:30a.m. and 7.30 p.m. Monday to Friday (call charges apply).

Delivery

Orders are delivered as specified in the HP Store and determined by you when ordering online or over the phone.

We deliver only to Australian destinations. Standard delivery for those products in stock will typically be within 1-4 working days, for orders received and accepted before 3pm (this will not apply if additional checks and verifications by HP are required). For remote destinations delivery will normally be within 4 working days from order acceptance. You will receive an order acceptance from us by e-mail once we have satisfactorily verified your payment details. These times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

For those products which are not immediately available from stock, an approximate availability is shown alongside the product description. These products can be ordered and will be delivered as soon as they are available. You will be notified as soon as we get a delivery date. If an item on a ‘group’ order has an extended lead-time, we will send your items together when they are all in stock as we cannot process split orders. If you would like to order a similar item which is in stock or cancel an item which has limited availability within a ‘group’ order, you will need to cancel the full order and place another order(s) separately.

Delivery is free of charge for orders above $50 anything under are subject to a $7.95 delivery fee.

  • Events beyond our reasonable control. HP will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations hereunder if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control.

Defects on Delivery and Returns

Your acceptance of the products occurs upon delivery of the products and will be presumed unless you notify HP by email support@hpadmin.zendesk.com or through our Call Centre, as soon as reasonably possible but, in any case, no more than 30 days after delivery, that the products have been delivered in inoperable or otherwise defective condition. In such cases you should contact our customer service agents on 13 23 47 between 8.30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Monday to Friday (call charges apply). If you reject any products, HP shall pick them up and, at your option, either replace or repair them, or refund the amounts you paid for them unless any such remedy is disproportionate or impossible. HP may test products upon return and charge you any costs incurred by HP if you wrongly claimed that returned products were inoperable or defective.

Return of products purchased under a special offer or promotion or as part of a bundle may be subject to specific conditions, as described herein or otherwise communicated to you. No refund is allowed for individual products purchased as part of a bundle or under a voucher promotion jointly with other products, but HP will either (i) replace such individual product or (ii) have returned the whole product bundle or the whole order and refund the amounts you paid. HP reserves the right to be reimbursed for any promotional discounts applied on other products you purchased if such discounts were dependent on the purchase of the product(s) returned to HP.

If you have accepted goods but a fault appears within the first 6 months after delivery, HP will at your request on notification, repair or replace the defective goods or, where such remedy is disproportionate or impossible, offer a refund or price reduction. From 6 months after delivery, you need to prove to HP that the defect was present at the time of delivery in order to invoke such rights. HP may test products upon return and charge you any costs incurred by HP if you wrongly claimed that returned products were inoperable or defective. If you do have a right of return, HP will either collect the products or pay the costs of returning them.

Warranty

All products are covered by HP's limited warranty, in accordance with the terms and limitations specified in the warranty statement bundled with such products.

HP products are provided with a manufacturer warranty (HP Limited Warranty). Please refer to the HP Limited Warranty Statement provided with your product for extensive description of your manufacturer warranty entitlements, scope and duration.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

In addition, all HP branded products are covered by the applicable HP limited warranty according to the terms and limitations specified in the warranty statement bundled with such products. Products may have been manufactured using some refurbished components or may have been used internally for reliability or performance testing.

Goods presented for repair may be replaced by new or reconditioned or refurbished or comparable versions of the same type of goods rather than being repaired. New or reconditioned or refurbished or comparable versions of parts may be used to repair the goods.

HP Support-Pack

Should you purchase an HP Support Pack. HP will provide those maintenance and support services you ordered in accordance with the applicable service description and subject to the conditions and limitations specified in the applicable terms

Software Licences

HP software products are subject to HP’s standard licence terms posted in the HP Store. Non-HP software products and, exceptionally, some HP software products may be subject to different licence terms, as provided with such products.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law which cannot be lawfully excluded or limited.

Save for any rights you may have at law which cannot be excluded, limited or modified, including your consumer guarantee rights contained in the Australian Consumer Law (and referred to above):

  • HP does not warrant that the operation of products will be uninterrupted or error-free;
  • HP is not responsible for damage that occurs as a result of your failure to follow the instructions intended for the product;
  • HP will not be liable for loss of data as it expects you to make appropriate arrangements to back up your data;
  • HP will not be liable under the Terms for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of contracts, loss of data or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind howsoever arising, whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise; and
  • any term or condition of your order which is any way inconsistent with or in addition to these Terms will not be applicable or binding on HP unless otherwise agreed in a written agreement signed by you and HP and HP's failure to object will not be considered a waiver of these Terms.

HP does not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury (including to the extent caused by its negligence) or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law

HP’s maximum aggregate liability under the Terms whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, save for any rights you may have at law which cannot be excluded, limited or modified, including your consumer guarantee rights contained in the Australian Consumer Law, shall in no circumstances exceed the amount payable by you to us in respect of the HP branded products in question.

Protection of Personal Data

You agree that any personally identifiable information you provide to us in connection with the HP Store may be dealt with by HP in accordance with the terms specified in the HP Privacy Statement available at the bottom of the HP Store web pages.

You also agree that HP may use personal information provided by you in order to conduct appropriate anti- fraud checks. Personal information that you provide may be checked against a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of that information.

Other applicable terms

Products are manufactured for standard commercial uses and are not intended to be sold or licensed for use in critical safety systems, in hospitals in situations where uninterrupted performance is desirable or in nuclear facilities.

HP is not responsible for delay or failure to perform under these Terms due to causes beyond its reasonable control.

Each party will treat and hold confidential information provided by the other party which is marked as confidential or proprietary.

HP may subcontract the performance of services to qualified service suppliers.

All documents referred to in these Terms are incorporated into these Terms and are available from HP upon request.

Any customer site access requirements will not be enforceable to either increase the obligations or liabilities or reduce the rights under these Terms of HP, its officers, employees, or subcontractors.

Governing Laws

Any contract or dispute arising in connection with Terms will be governed by laws in force in Australia.

HP reserves the right to change prices published on the HP Store prior to acceptance of that order by HP.

Where there has been a typographical or other error in the price, HP has the right to correct the price at any time prior to delivery. HP will notify you of the corrected price. You may choose to pay the corrected price, however if you do not choose to pay the corrected price, then HP may cancel your order and will issue a refund or credit to your account, if you have already paid.

  • HP is not responsible for damage that occurs as a result of your failure to follow the instructions intended for the product;
  • HP will not be liable for loss of data as it expects you to make appropriate arrangements to back up your data;
  • HP will not be liable under the Terms for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of contracts, loss of data or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind howsoever arising, whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise; and
  • any term or condition of your order which is any way inconsistent with or in addition to these Terms will not be applicable or binding on HP unless otherwise agreed in a written agreement signed by you and HP and HP's failure to object will not be considered a waiver of these Terms.

HP does not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury (including to the extent caused by its negligence) or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law

HP’s maximum aggregate liability under the Terms whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, save for any rights you may have at law which cannot be excluded, limited or modified, including your consumer guarantee rights contained in the Australian Consumer Law, shall in no circumstances exceed the amount payable by you to us in respect of the HP branded products in question.

Protection of Personal Data

You agree that any personally identifiable information you provide to us in connection with the HP Store may be dealt with by HP in accordance with the terms specified in the HP Privacy Statement available at the bottom of the HP Store web pages.

You also agree that HP may use personal information provided by you in order to conduct appropriate anti- fraud checks. Personal information that you provide may be checked against a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of that information.

Other applicable terms

Products are manufactured for standard commercial uses and are not intended to be sold or licensed for use in critical safety systems, in hospitals in situations where uninterrupted performance is desirable or in nuclear facilities.

HP is not responsible for delay or failure to perform under these Terms due to causes beyond its reasonable control.

Each party will treat and hold confidential information provided by the other party which is marked as confidential or proprietary.

HP may subcontract the performance of services to qualified service suppliers. All documents referred to in these Terms are incorporated into these Terms and are available from HP upon request.

Any customer site access requirements will not be enforceable to either increase the obligations or liabilities or reduce the rights under these Terms of HP, its officers, employees, or subcontractors.

Governing Laws

Any contract or dispute arising in connection with Terms will be governed by laws in force in Australia.

Unless otherwise agreed by HP or required by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, you are responsible for the cost of returning goods to HP for warranty support. Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.

HP Business Club - Eligibility

You need to be a registered company/business in your country, as this program is not intended for consumer end-user .You must be signed up for the HP Business Club program and signed in with a user name and password to the HP Business Club Store to receive exclusive offers & savings. Savings applies starting with your next purchase after qualifying. Reward and exclusive offers are subject to change or cancellation at any time. Employee Purchase Program and HP Employee Purchase Program discounts are not combinable with HP Business Club.

You active consent to receive marketing materials by post and electronic means is taken at the time of enrolment (opt-in). HP or HP Licensees may send you promotional materials by such means, setting out details of HP services and offers which they believe may be of interest of you.

Membership may be cancelled at any time by notifying HP Store Support team by email or phone. Cancellation may take up to 4 weeks to finalize. Upon cancellation, membership will be deactivated and access to HP Business Club community removed.

HP reserves the right to modify, revise or cancel this Program, the Terms or any part of the Program at any time for all participants or for any specific participant without prior notice. HP reserves the right at any time in its absolute discretion to terminate your Membership. HP decision on any aspect of Member's account, membership status or any aspect of the program or a particular Member's participation in it shall be final.

Abuse of the Program, including failure to follow or any attempts to circumvent Program policies and procedures or these Terms, or other improper conduct as determined by HP in its sole discretion, is strictly forbidden. Abuse may result in cancellation of the Member's account, future disqualification from Program participation.
