  • [2] Power requirements are based on the country/region where the printer is sold. Do not convert operating voltages. This will damage the printer and void the product warranty. Power consumption in Sleep modes depends on customer network switch capability, user configuration and network activity.
  • [3] Speed specifications have been updated to reflect current industry testing methods.
  • [4] Based on standard ITU-T test image #1 at standard resolution. More complicated pages or higher resolution will take longer and use more memory.

  • [6] No heating or fusing warm up time required
  • [7] Duty cycle is defined as the maximum number of pages per month of imaged output. This value provides a comparison of product robustness in relation to other HP LaserJet or HP Color LaserJet devices, and enables appropriate deployment of printers and MFPs to satisfy the demands of connected individuals or groups.
  • [8] HP recommends that the number of printed pages per month be within the stated range for optimum device performance, based on factors including supplies replacement intervals and device life over an extended warranty period.
  • [9] HP SureSupply alerts you when you should replace a print cartridge and helps you purchase locally or via the Internet. For more information, visit hp.com/learn/suresupply. Only available with original HP supplies; Internet access required.

Colour is not good and washed out

We were sold this printer on the premise that it offered laser print quality never seen before , this is not even close to that claim, very disappointed in the colour quality produced. We were hoping to save on the running costs however not to be, gone back to the laser printer. I suppose we learnt that a inkjet is an inkjet even if the new technology suggests differently and if you want quality prints then a laser printer is still the way to go. What has annoyed me about this process is the misleading marketing that suggests this printer is as good or close to laser quality, so far from the truth.

    Great Product

Generally good with accurate colours for an inkjet technology multifunction printer. Extreme savings indeed (as the campaign says over and over again), I purchased this specific printer 5 months ago and I'm still printing with the included cartridges which of course is just a start-up kit! The wireless printing is sublime as well as the other functions, no errors no nothing up until now. If the borderless function was available it would be the perfect printer.. 4 Stars though because sometimes the upper lid is loose. If you're a small business then this printer is your friend.

    Poor printer, Poor print-out

This HP printer set out with lofty promises which fell flat upon arrival. I've heard plenty of reviews online and having used the aforementioned printer, I can confirm that none of the positives I've heard from these sources came true for myself. I've used plenty of printers in the past and frankly, HP printers has always failed to impressed. Having heard that the new Pagewide printer would incorporate new technologies, I decided to give it another go. However, not only were the colours on the print out vastly different from that of my other printers, the noise it produce was exceptionally loud even on the quiet mode. Things got worse when shortly after, the printer quipped that the magenta cartridge was low on ink despite the fact that it was brand new. So much for being able to last over 10,000 pages. In summary, I'd guess the printer has its advantages? It prints decently and the print resolution is decent. I have yet to try the wireless printing function yet as HP printers has always had wonky WiFi. If you're in the market for a reliable long lasting printer, look elsewhere. My experience with teh printer has been largely negative and I hope others would not experience the same.
