THE TOPS!

Been a Canon user for the last 4 years.Bit hard work and noisy but good looking with matching results. On changing to brand new, latest ,most expensive Canon I returned after 2 days.Poor quality and faults that I thought my last one had only developed through age. Looking at the Apple web site saw HP ENVY 120e being a good fit for my Mac.I went ahead hoping it would be as good as it appeared.I have to say this is the finest printer ever! It does exactly what it promises-Sleek,Smooth and with a spec.unheard of a few years ago at this price. Forget any negative reviews ,if you want a State-Of-The Art printer that is a pleasure to use BUY IT! The only problem is you will keep looking for things to print it's that good!

Exceptional for Executive or Home

The Envy 120 exceeded my expectations from the day I installed it. Right out of the box I saw that it was solid and elegant. The printer was a snap to install and setup. It found its own drivers and thoughtfully configured itself. The Envy now remains in low energy alert mode, ready to scan, copy, or print. The quality is fantastic and HP has done a great making it web-aware for printing HTML pages that I always seem to need. I exected to pay $500 or more for a good printer but I ended up with twice the printer for half the price.

Superb Beast

I feel that I must put a counter view to Mike M's review of 16/10/2013 entitled "Satisfied then Disappointed". This machine is a black brooding beast that looks superb, as it sits on my desk balefully looking at me and wanting to know if I'm going to use it today. Sometimes I just press the buttons to see just how smoothly trays and guides and control panels slide effortlessly in and out (sad, but true, and this saves a fortune in consumables too!). Please forgive my anthropomorphism, but this piece of kit, which would grace wherever it was places, gets you like that. Clearly I'm delighted with it, falling as I do into the category I've seen for usersof this machine "not a heavy user but wants to do it in style". I don't doubt Mike M's facts, i.e. that the scanner failed, but I'm glad I didn't listen. To get round this (now) potential risk I bought it from a household name suppler that offers a 2 year guarantee. "Delighted" of Tunbridge Wells (OK, Swindon).

Satisfied and then Disapointed

I purchased this printer after buying a new HP computer that required me to get a new printer to run with the new eprint format. I really found this annoying as I had to abandon a perfectly good working printer to switch over to their format. I chose this printer because I liked the design and compactness of the printer. Initially I was very pleased with the printer, and now the scanner has malfunctioned after less than 400 pages and 6 months use. I searched online and it is a major defect with this printer and many people like me have experienced this fault with their printers also. I chose this printer at a premium price point initially so that it would work for quite a long time with out failing. I am disappointed as this is the second HP product that I have bought over the years that has failed. Over the years I favoured the HP product line, and paid a higher price to find out that I have simply been wasting my money.
