1What is HP Care Pack?
HP Care Pack is an optional service package to extend and enhance your HP equipment warranty (warranty period differs for various equipment), in addition to the HP equipment standard warranty coverage.
2What are the benefits of HP Care Pack?
HP Care Pack extends and enhances the standard warranty of your HP equipment. Some of the coverage includes: i. Phone support ii. Parts and Labor iii. Prompt pick up and delivery services
3After purchasing the Care Pack, what am I supposed to do?
You simply need to register your HP equipment to be supported, within ten days of purchase of HP Care Pack by following the instructions given in each package. Then paste the HP Care Pack reference label on the HP equipment in position indicated by HP. HP is not obligated to provide support services if the HP equipment is not registered as stated herein
4If I have already bought HP equipment, am I still entitled to purchase HP Care Pack?
HP Care Pack can still be purchased within 90 days of HP equipment purchase, except for Remote Management Support Services. In such cases, the dates of HP Care Pack coverage period will commerce from the date of HP equipment purchase date.
5If I bought my HP equipment from overseas, can I purchase HP Care Pack locally in Singapore?
If your HP equipment is a supportable model in Singapore and it is within 90 days from your HP equipment purchase date, you can purchase HP Care Pack. Please note HP Care Pack purchased in Singapore is only applicable for servicing within Singapore only and vice versa.
6Are monitors covered within HP Care Pack?
Yes, CRT or LCD monitors of up to 17” are covered. But please note that HP Pavilion monitor is covered if the monitor is purchased as a bundle with HP Pavilion Desktop PC. Hence, a HP Compaq Presario monitor will not be covered with HP Care Pack purchased for HP Pavilion Desktop PC.
7If I lose my hardcopy information for my HP Care Pack, whom can I call for assistance if I have my HP equipment serial number and have registered my HP Care Pack?

8What should I do when my HP equipment is faulty?
  • When you encounter a technical issue, HP Customer Care Online at "http://www.hp.com/go/support" is the first resource you should visit. It is available 24 hours a day and it offers the most convenient method of resolution. It also provides you with troubleshooting tools to identify and resolve the technical issue encountered.
  • If the problem still persists, the next step is to call HP Customer Careline at (+65) 6272-5300. Please have the product model and serial number ready prior to speaking with an HP Customer Care representative.
  • A HP Care Pack Representative will help you to resolve the issue over the phone or determine whether to ship a customer-replaceable part, arrange for an off-site repair or exchange, or schedule an onsite repair or exchange. Onsite services are provided only if the fault or problem cannot be resolved remotely. For onsite services, the customer is responsible for providing access to products and for ensuring that an adult representative is present while service is being performed.
  • 9What isn't covered in the standard equipment warranty and HP Care Pack?
  • Parts of a consumable or expendable nature (such as batteries).
  • Third party firmware upgrades that are not provided by HP.
  • HP equipment located or moved outside country of purchase.
  • HP equipment that has been damaged or rendered defective as a result of accident, misuse, abuse and mishandle.
  • HP equipment that has been damaged or rendered defective resulting from operation outside the usage parameters stated in the applicable accompanying HP equipment documentation.
  • HP equipment that has been damaged or rendered defective by its use in conjunction with non-HP products.
  • Service which in HP's opinion are required due to improper treatment or use of the equipment or software.
  • Services required due to causes external to the HP maintained equipment or software.
  • Software product media and documentation updates.
  • Reconfiguration of HP equipment.

    1How do I check the status of my orders?
    You may check the status of your order at any time (24 hours x 7 days a week). Simply access the store at www.hp.com.sg/store and click on "Check Order Status" on the left hand menu. You will need your order number and email address to login and access your order status details.
    2When will I expect delivery of my purchase?
    Order processing is started only upon clearance of your payment. An agent will call prior to confirm delivery time as your order nears completion. You can call 1 800 278 0182 (press option 5) for the latest information regarding the status or delivery of the order.

    As a guide, delivery times may take up to:
  • Desktops - 14 working days after credit clearance
  • Notebooks and iPAQs - 14 working days after credit clearance
  • Servers - 14 working days after credit clearance
  • Options - 14 working days after credit clearance
    Again, these delivery times are dependent upon factors like stock availability.
  • 3How long does the "Save Quote" hold my quotation? What can I do if the quote has expired?
    Your quote is saved in "Save Quote" for 3 working days. Upon expiry, you will need to re-create your order online.

    There are several payment methods available including cheque, credit card, zero percent card instalment and hire purchase schemes
    2What are my credit card options?
    Currently we accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express.
    3How safe are my credit card transactions?
    HP works hard to ensure that every credit card transaction occurs within a secure environment. All your ordering data as well as your personal data is encrypted by SSL. HP does not retain your credit card information after your order is completed. By requesting that you fill in your credit card details with each purchase, you can rest assured that your credit card information will be kept confidential. In fact, our encryption process makes ordering online even safer than offline ordering. The HP online store is also VeriSign certified.
    4How do I pay by cheque?

    5How do I cancel my order?

    1What is the purpose of the Register/Sign-in?
    The Register/Sign-in recognises a regular customer. If you have provided your Bill To and Ship To details, it also speeds up the Checkout process by automatically populating the details for you.
